Lesmurdie Falls National Park

The last weeks before a move are always hectic. So many things to do, and so little time for fun. It is also a top priority to say a nice good-bye to our wonderful friends. Saturday was a chance for fun and good-byes.
My friend Judit suggested Lesmurdie National Park southeast of Perth for a family hike. We packed picnics and set off for some new sights.
The hike to the waterfall was quite rocky and so the buggies eventually had to be abandoned along the path, but the kids did well making their way over the rocks and along the path.
The waterfall was really nice. I read that it's to best to go in winter, when there is water. They were right!
It was a wonderful last get-together for the families. (We missed you Swains!) I will miss these amazing friends very much. Such wonderful caring people. We will miss the comfortable way that we all care for each other's children, the lively and fun conversation, and the way I feel after each time we're together- as though I've just spent time with family. Thank you wonderful friends!

As I just read this, it has actually just hit me that you're leaving... so i'm crying my eyes out like an idiot! You have been a truly wonderful friend, and made our transition in to perth very easy. I also realised that I hadn't explained to J and O that they won't be able to have playdates and swim lessons with D and C any more, they were not keen on that at all!! I am going to miss you so much, but of course we do now need to book in a trip to Bangkok!! Take care lovely xxx
